Blending

Learn how to blend two or more pictures together in Photoshop!

1. You need at least two pictures. These are the pictures I will be using:
I got mine from here. Feel free to use these to follow along.

2. Open up your first image. Copy and paste it onto a bigger background. Just make sure you have room around the image.

3. Open up your second image and copy and paste it onto the image with your first picture. Use the Move Tool by pressing V or clicking on it on the toolbar. This is what

4. Now select the lasso tool (under the marquee tool or you can press L) and at the top where it says Feather, change the number to anything between 20 and 30 px.

5. Outline the part of the image where the pictures overlap. Make sure you are on the top layer. A dotted line will appear around the selection when you let go of the mouse.


6. Hit the delete button a couple of times and your pictures will be blended. Crop the image to get rid of that extra background area.

And voila! There's your blended image!
